Pre-release Review of Endings and Beginnings by KC Wells & Parker Williams

Endings and Beginnings (Collars and Cuffs #8) by K.C. Wells (Goodreads Author), Parker Williams 4*

BLURB: In all his relationships, Darren Fielding never found the level of intimacy he witnessed between Thomas Williams and his sub, Peter, the day of Peter’s “rebirth.” Not only that, he never realized such intimacy was possible. For two years, Thomas’s business card has been burning a hole in his wallet. When Darren’s lover moves on, maybe it’s finally time to see where that card takes him.

Collars & Cuffs’ new barman, JJ Taylor, is really conflicted right now. He went to the club with a very specific purpose, already convinced of what he’d find there. Except it’s not what he expected at all. He certainly didn’t anticipate finding himself drawn to the new wannabe Dom. Nor could he have guessed the direction that attraction would lead him.

Old love, new love, vows, pain, rage, moving in, moving on…. The members of Collars & Cuffs face an event that touches some of them deeply, but it will only reinforce what they already know: together they are stronger, and some bonds cannot be broken.

My Review: I was given a free copy from Pride Promotions in exchange for an honest review. I came late to this series and am very glad I did, as I was able to read the previous ones in a marathon of books. I loved each and every book and, the best thing of all, was that there was an overall story arc to them but each could be read alone. This one is no different, in that you get enough of the back story of the couples featured to understand what is going on, but not enough to drown out the story. The introduction of another new couple was cleverly woven into the story of the BDSM Club Collars & Cuffs and it truly felt like an end to an era.  However the authors have very deftly woven in enough to give them all a new beginning that ties up old threads from that overall story arc and leaves the the way open if they ever want to branch out to an off shoot series. I highly recommend this series to anyone who is curious about the lifestyle of people in the BDSM community. The series does a wonderful job of explaining and showing that there is nothing at all wrong with liking something different in the bedroom. As to this particular book I really liked how both characters were new to the scene and were learning about it together. I can only add that I hope the authors do write an off shoot story as I, for one, will be rushing to Amazon to buy a copy immediately.
n.b. Sorry you will have to wait until 18th July to buy your own copy of the book.
