Today I’m very lucky to be interviewing Lilah Suzanne author of Burning Tracks

Hi Lilah, thank you for agreeing to this interview. Tell us a little about yourself, your background, and your current book.

What’s the easiest thing about writing?

Dialogue is probably the thing that comes the most naturally to me. I spend a lot of time talking to myself so that’s probably why.

Name one author (living or dead) you’d like to write with?

I’m pretty bad at collaborating with people but if I could write with the spirit of Douglas Adams and take on some of his wit and humor that would be amazing.

Tell us about your cover and how it came about.

Even though my publisher is incredible about taking an author’s input about their covers, I usually have very little to offer! The cover was completely the vision of Art Director CB Messer and my cover artist Victoria S. The idea was basically to keep the theme of a record throughout the Spotlight series, and for this one as there’s a love triangle of sorts it’s meant to look a bit ambiguous. Just who is Gwen playing footsie with?

Is this book part of a series? Do you have ideas that could make it into a series? If it is a series, tell us a little about it.

It is! Burning Tracks is the second book in my Spotlight series, which is about L.A. stylists who find themselves mixed up in the lives of country music stars in Nashville.

Word association. Tell us the first thing that comes to mind when you read these words.

Ketchup: Mustard
Flakes: Corn
Elastic: Waistbands
Timer: Baking
Google: Homepage

Thank you for joining us today Lilah, it's been a pleasure.
For my readers: if you go to my previous psot you can learn more about the book and read a lovely excerpt from it (there's a giveaway too:))
