Review of Captain's Harvest by T.J. Land

The Captain's Harvest (Adrift #5) by T.J. Land 2*
BLURB: The long-suffering crew of the Prayer have found a home. They’ve got a harvest. Now it’s time for a holiday. But while the captain was looking forward to a day spent lying on his back, he’d wanted it to be as a result of a prolonged food-and-sex coma, not arthritis…
My Review: I was gifted a copy of the book for review purposes. So what can I say about 40 pages worth of book #5? Well one thing I can say is that at least you learn more about the past of most of the characters whilst they search for something to help the Captain's Arthritis. However there wasn't a lot of action nor very much of anything else really. I felt it was almost a stop gap read, like eating an eclair when you really wanted roast beef - sweet, light and fluffy but no true substance. Hopefully the next one will be a little more interesting.
