My Review: I picked this one up because of the fact that it was a science fiction story that sounded interesting. I kept reading it because it was also a collection of stories about the main Character that were all tied together through detective cases. It was well written and I loved the way the world building was done. It took it's time growing the relationship between the main character and his love interest whilst keeping the reader focused on the political and racial issues of the people around him. If you like stories that are full of truly interesting characters and great depths then this is for you.

My Review: One Word- Epic! Both in scope and in length. This story had me from page one and kept me reading about Kei and Arman and the way they grew, learned and overcame all sorts of troubles to come out better on the other side. It had me laughing at snarky comments, crying at loss and pain and smiling at romances and happy scenes. It was a story with twists and turns and raw hate and deep love and I was sorry to get to the end as I felt so deeply involved with all the characters in it.

My Review:I loved the suspense in this story but it didn't detract any from the quite hot romance between Erica and Trent. The story was full of action and was sexy too. Overall I am sure I will be on the lookout for more from this new series. Especially if the author produces more of the same suspense in future stories

Review Of Twin Effect by Ann Somerville 4*

That's why when Max Symonds crashes into his life, Dylan welcomes the distraction. Max is fun loving, artistic and devoted to his twin brother, Toby. He thinks Dylan is attractive, and Dylan finds it hard to resist his persistent advances.
But Max is unaware of the dark secret behind his relationship with his brother, and Dylan must help them accommodate a strange new reality, while trying not to lose his heart in the process.
My Review: A very unusual theme to this story and at first I wasn't sure about it at all, especially when the dark secret came out (not putting what it is because I won't spoil it for others) but suffice to say I really liked the solution the author came up with. I liked that the theme of grief and loss was so well handled within the story and will be reading more from this author sooner or later as she writes in a style that I find easy to lose myself in.
