Meanwhile I have been catching up on some series' reading and am now up to date on the Shibari Auction House series by Sean Michael, the Love Slaves of the Alphas series by various authors, the Cat Star Chronicles series by Cheryl Brooks, the Lupinville series by Alica Cain and I'm currently reading the last book in the Haven City series by Zoe Perdita.
With the one I read for review as well that averages out at two books a day for the last week! I think maybe I read too much :D

A review and a heads up.

Now for the review.

My Review: I have loved the 'Star Cat Chronicles' since the very first book and this one just added to my enjoyment. The heroes are heroic, sexy and monogamous when they meet their heroines. The Heroines are usually fairly normal humans (one or two are human/other) who have that something extra that attracts those Heroes (and I'm not talking model type good looks). In fact most of the time it is a typical 'boy meets girl and they fall in love' book but somehow Ms Brooks is able to imbue her books with a spicy sexy story with action and intrigue that keeps the reader hooked. In this one there was the added attraction of horses and a 'pet' leopard and an interesting back story that helped move the whole thing along.
