Two years ago I stated in my review of the ebook that ;" ...it's the best story I've read in a long time with a trans main character". Strangely enough, in the two years since, I haven't come across another book that changes that opinion. So it should come as no surprise that I gave this a 5* rating and if I could give out higher than that, the narration of this audio version would have earned it. Hamish Long does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life and made me feel all the emotions in a more in-depth way than merely reading the words did. So to conclude, I'd say even if, like me you've read the book, still give this audio version a chance, between Jay and Hamish you'll be in for almost 7 hours of blissful heart-warming, down-to-earth romance.
